Known as a skimming bit, bottom cleaner and/or surface cleaner, these bits are used for levelling waste boards or hogging material stock. These can be used with handheld routers up to a max 12000RPM.

My go to surfacing bit, stands up really well to tough Aussie Timbers like Ironbark, Redgum, Spotted Gum so much better than other surfacing bits I’ve used before and at great value.

I've been using this bit quite a lot lately, I installed a new spoil board on my X-Carve, and surfaced it, and have been surfacing some slabs also. It's a good diameter, and makes the job easy.

Cleans up and levels sacrificial sheet very well - definitely use vac-extract or you will have a dusty mess
