I bought this for use with aluminium but have used it for steel as well. It cuts effortlessly, even in steel, and is a great leap forward from the Chinese endmills I had been using.

I used these to cut aluminium and acrylic on a cheap Chinese Did a good job on both aluminium and acrylic. Having the shank the same size as the cutters makes the tool useful as it allows a good cut depth.
