This is a serious bit for some serious wood cutting. Sporting 3 flutes and chip breakers, this bit chews through timbers, plys and veneers at 50% faster than 2 flute. These bits will produce chips at an astonishing rate and leave a perfect top and bottom finish. 3 flutes only come in minimum 6mm shank

These bits are meant for industrial application and must be treated mean to be kept sharp. This means they will need to be feed at a high rate so that the bit does not overheat or collect residue. Alternatively, drop your spindle speed to ensure a consistent chip load.
